The Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous Festival is pleased to introduce one and all to our 2019 Quest for the Crown Candidates. This year we have six amazing women who will be competing to win the Rendezvous Crown: Miss Asashyia Joy Harry, Miss Yukon Home and Tour Bonnie Tucker, Miss Itsy Bitsy Yarn Store Heather Grant, Miss Home Hardware Kaylee Levesque, Miss Nu-Line Powerline Kristina White, and Miss Hvactech Systems Michelle Friesen. These lovely ladies will be out around Whitehorse until Rendezvous reaching out to the community, participating in events and of course selling Rendezvous Raffle Tickets. Starting on January 11th 2019 we are also unveiling this year’s People Princess Contest, if you have a favorite Quest for the Crown Candidate, simply go to yukonrendevous.com and vote for who you would like to see become the People’s Princess this year.

 

Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous, working with the Yukon Order of Pioneers (YOOP) is incredibly excited to unveil this year’s Mr. and Mrs. Yukon; Hank and Pam Karr. Every year a Mr. and Mrs. Yukon is selected to represent the Yukon Order of Pioneers and the Yukon for the full year, There was a long list of very qualified couples and it was not an easy choice.

 

This year’s couple Hank and Pam Karr have given much back to the Yukon for over 50 years, in the music and songs written about the Yukon and North and have made the Yukon well known to the outside world through his music. The Yukon Order of Pioneers feels that this couple will make outstanding ambassadors for all Yukoners.
