HAIR FREEZING CONTEST
Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs
All winter during regular business hours at the venue. Cut-off date determined by weather. 
Our first Guinness World Record-Holding Hair Freezing Contest in the new facility! Running all winter long on days when it’s cold enough for hair to freeze (typically below –20 degrees C). Simply pay your entry fee to Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs and enter this free contest for your chance to win $2,000! Sponsored by Air North and Nongshim, we welcome you to try your hand (or, more accurately, head) in this year’s contest. RENDEZVOUS HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

We are very happy to be hosting the Rendezvous hockey tournament this year! This all-ages event is being held at both the Takhini Arena and the Canada Games Centre. We have men’s and women’s divisions playing this year, and the tournament is a free event to attend. There will be a beer garden at Takhini Arena, with proceeds going to the U11 travel hockey team. KINGSCOTE AIR DISPLAY
Saturday, Feb. 24– Sunday Feb. 25 12-3PM
Kingscote Air Display was founded by Jack Kingscote, and has taken place during Rendezvous weekend for more than 50 years. The display can consist of jets, helicopters, Auroras, Hercs, Cormorants, Dash-8, Harvards, etc. depending on which aircraft can visit. We welcome everyone to come up, check out the planes, and talk to the pilots! This year is the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Airforce, so we hope to have a large attendance! Free to the public.

ANNUAL SOURDOUGH PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Knights of Columbus
Saturday, Feb. 24–Sunday, Feb. 25 8AM–12PM
Start your day the right way! A mustattend event is the Annual Sourdough Pancake Breakfast put on by the Knights of Columbus—a tradition since 1971! Dedicated volunteers provide delicious sourdough pancakes, ham, and sausages. This fundraiser for the Knights is a great opportunity to meet old and new friends while kicking off your Rendezvous experience. Meals are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $6 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children up to 5.
