COVID-19 Information

If you choose to participate in any in-person Rendezvous activities, there are a number of guidelines in place to ensure our events are as safe as possible for the community. We ask that you familiarize yourself with these and please respect and adhere to the safety measures in place.

For Festival-Goers
We have many Rendezvous activities that can be enjoyed virtually this year! We also encourage use of the Yukon Government’s  Self-Assessment Tool to help you make your decision on attending any in-person events and encourage everyone to continue following the Safe 6 Plus 1.

Festival Safety Measures/COVID-19 Guidelines
  • Controlled access
    • Our team will be controlling access into any event areas. All areas will be limited to a specified venue capacity and proof of vaccination will be required for those aged 19 and up. This includes staff, volunteers, and any support crew. Please be patient with our team as they learn to control the flow of incoming and outgoing attendees.
  • Proof of vaccination
    • All venues will require attendees 19 years of age or older to present proof of vaccination showing that they have received two or more doses of one of the COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada. This includes staff, volunteers, and any support crew. Proof may be provided using a vaccine card or through an approved Yukon Government Health Gateway vaccine QR code, or similar government-issued document if visiting from outside of the territory/country. Government ID must also be presented that matches the information included with the proof of vaccination.
  • One-way traffic
    • All event areas will have a one-way traffic flow; there will be arrows and signage to guide you in the right direction and avoid congestion.
  • Physically distanced line-ups
    • If an event area is at maximum capacity, we ask that you remain in line in a physically distant manner. We will have floor signage to help facilitate this.
  • Physical distanced viewing
    • At all our live audience events, you will be asked to follow physical distancing guidelines displayed at each event.
  • Sanitizing stations
    • There will be sanitizing stations at all of our event locations. If you are wearing gloves at our outdoor events, our team will spray your gloves with sanitizing spray. When entering an indoor location, you will be required to sanitize on entry. We also encourage you to sanitize and/or wash your hands frequently while you are at an event.
  • Wearing a mask
    • All festival-goers 5 years of age or older are required to wear a face mask at all times when attending any of our festival events.
  • Cleaning protocols
    • We have various cleaning protocols in place, including scheduled cleaning of our Performance Stage, which will cause a break in the live entertainment and access to the event room. All items that are handled by multiple people will be sanitized after each use, e.g., axes for Axe Throwing, etc.
